Emmet Cronin

Emmet Cronin is a seasoned pharmaceutical executive with extensive experience in corporate development, strategy, and operational excellence. Currently serving as Vice President of Corporate Development and Vice President of Strategy, Governance, and Operational Excellence at Jazz Pharmaceuticals since September 2017, Emmet is responsible for the strategic plan of Technical Operations and site leadership for critical manufacturing supporting substantial sales. Previous roles include Director of Product Management and Director of Technical Operations at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies, where Emmet oversaw product portfolios and managed external manufacturing relationships, notably leading the Ebola Vaccine program. Emmet's foundational experience includes senior positions at Janssen Alzheimer Immunotherapy, Elan, Amgen, and Biogen Idec, with expertise spanning manufacturing leadership, program management, and technical development. Emmet holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Strategic Growth from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, an Executive MBA from University College Cork, and a BEng in Chemical and Process Engineering from Munster Technological University.
