Maria Hobeika

Maria Hobeika has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and research fields. Maria began their career as a Researcher at the Medical Research Council in 2006. Maria then worked as a Researcher at CRBM - CNRS UMR 5237 and the Institut Jacques Monod/CNRS & University Paris Diderot. In 2009, Maria joined Novartis as a Product Manager and later transitioned into the role of Medical Scientific Liaison. Maria served as a Medical Advisor at Novartis from 2016 to 2018. In 2018, Maria joined Novartis Oncology as a Medical Scientific Liaison and was later promoted to MSL Manager Hematology. Currently, Maria holds the position of Medical Lead Hematology/Oncology at Jazz Pharmaceuticals.

Maria Hobeika pursued their education in a chronological manner. Maria completed their Master's degree in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Saint Joseph University of Beirut, from 1999 to 2003. Maria then continued their studies at Université Paris Cité, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in DNA and Proteins, from 2003 to 2008. Subsequently, they enrolled at ESCP Business School from 2008 to 2009, obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Medical Management.
