Stefan Kolata

Stefan Kolata, PhD, CMPP, currently serves as the Director of Medical Communications in Oncology at Jazz Pharmaceuticals, a position held since June 2020, following a tenure as Associate Director. Prior experience includes roles at AlphaBioCom, where Stefan worked as Scientific Director and Associate Scientific Director, and at Complete Healthcare Communications as a Medical Writer. Stefan's academic background features a postdoctoral research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health, focusing on the role of interneuron dysfunction in mental disorders and contributing over 16 peer-reviewed publications. Earlier, Stefan was a Teaching Assistant at Rutgers University, overseeing lab courses and instructing students. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Psychology from Rutgers University and a BA in Cognitive Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
