Yannick Shamamba has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries.

Yannick began their career as a Call Center Supervisor at MV Transportation in 2005, where they managed a large team responsible for answering calls and ensuring high service levels for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority contract. Yannick excelled at managing operations and facilitating training sessions.

In 2007, Yannick worked as a Secretary at Advantage Human Resourcing/SEIU, where they provided administrative support.

From 2008 to 2010, they served as a Ticket Service Coordinator at Maximus Ticket To Work Program, where they effectively responded to customer inquiries and resolved issues. Yannick also implemented complex government program policies and ensured accurate documentation of all interactions.

In 2011, Yannick was an Administrator at The City of Champions on America, INC, where they coordinated office operations, maintained records, and managed logistical needs. Yannick demonstrated proficiency in software installation and maintenance.

From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Concierge at NFC Amenity Management, specifically at The Lauren Residences. In this role, they greeted residents and guests, assisted with resident requests, facilitated deliveries and moves, ensured security and maintenance standards, and followed company policies and procedures.

Yannick then transitioned to JBG SMITH, where they held multiple positions. From 2017 to 2018, they served as a Concierge, creating a warm and professional environment, welcoming residents and guests, and providing information about the property and surrounding areas.

In 2018, they worked as a Residents Assistant, enhancing the resident experience by creating an inviting environment, assisting with various tasks, and personalizing interactions to exceed customer expectations.

Yannick was then promoted to the role of Lead Concierge in 2018, where they assembled and motivated a team with a strong service ethic, facilitated employee orientation, and provided guidance on company procedures and guidelines.

Most recently, they began working as an Assistant Community Manager in May 2022 at JBG SMITH. In this position, they actively manage revenue and expenses, supports team members, motivates employees to anticipate resident needs and deliver superior customer service, and assists with team training and coaching.

Yannick Shamamba attended the Community College of Baltimore County from 2013 to 2015. Yannick pursued a field of study in Mass Communication/Media Studies but did not obtain a degree during this time.
