Ina Dorsey

Ina Dorsey has over 29 years of experience in social work, currently serving as a Supervisor in the Child Protective Services Division at the Baltimore City Department of Social Services. Responsibilities include managing a team of 11 social workers, implementing policies related to Family Preservation, and overseeing compliance measures. Previously, Dorsey held supervisory roles in Quality Assurance, Managed Care Projects, and the Foster Care Division, emphasizing leadership and compliance with consent decrees. In addition, Dorsey contributes as a State Peer Reviewer for the Council on Accreditation and a Federal Peer Reviewer for both JBS International, Inc. and the Children's Bureau, focusing on improving service delivery and preventing child abuse. Dorsey holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Coppin State University.
