Daniel de Lima

Daniel de Lima's work experience includes roles at various companies in the supply chain and procurement fields. Daniel is currently the Vice President of Supply Chain Center of Excellence at JBT Corporation since 2023. Previously, they held the position of Director of Category Management at the same company from 2017 to 2023.

Prior to JBT Corporation, Daniel worked at DESTACO as the Global Procurement Director from 2014 to 2017. In this role, they were responsible for leading the procurement organization and managing an annual spend of $150M across multiple locations.

Before that, they had a two-year expatriate assignment at International Equipment Solutions in Brazil, where they served as the Director of Integration and Special Projects. This assignment involved managing a $110M division and restructuring the business for growth. Daniel also held the position of Director of Strategic Sourcing at the same company from 2009 to 2012, where they managed a $300M annual procurement spend across multiple locations.

Earlier in their career, Daniel worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Commodity Manager from 2007 to 2008, and at ZF Group as a Commodity Manager and Supplier Development Engineer from 2002 to 2007.

Daniel de Lima earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidade Metodista de Piracicaba from 1995 to 2000. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Global Challenges in Business and Innovation: From Creativity to Entrepreneurship from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, completing it from 2016 to 2019.
