Principal Engineer - Materials Handling & Access Current Product at JCB

Oliver Hawkes has a diverse work experience primarily in the engineering field. Oliver has worked at JCB since 2011, starting as an Undergraduate Engineer and later progressing to roles such as Design Engineer and Senior Design Engineer. Throughout their time at JCB, Hawkes has contributed to the development of various products, including the JCB 403 Small Wheeled Loading Shovel and a new compact Loadall. In these roles, they have collaborated with international teams, addressed production issues, and improved design for assembly. Hawkes's most recent role at JCB is Principal Engineer - Materials Handling & Access Current Product. Oliver also had a previous summer placement at JCB in 2013, where they assisted in investigations and product benchmarking. Prior to JCB, Hawkes worked as an Office Clerk at Tyre Revivers Limited in 2009 and as an Assistant Module Developer at the University of Northampton in 2008.

Oliver Hawkes completed their A-Levels in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry at Brooke Weston City Technology College from 2002 to 2009. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Loughborough University, graduating in 2014.
