Andrew Galbraith Ryer

Andrew Galbraith Ryer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Andrew began their career as a Lab Consultant and Trainer at the University at Buffalo from August 1989 to September 1990. Andrew then joined Melillo Consulting, Inc. as a Technical Architect from September 1991 to November 2010. Afterwards, they worked at McGraw Hill Financial as an Application Architect in the Technology Shared Services department from November 2010 to March 2014. Currently, Andrew is employed at J.D. Power where they have held two roles - Application Architect since March 2014 and Director of Application Engineering since January 2019. As an Application Architect, their responsibilities include designing, developing, and delivering software applications within the Market Research Platform. Andrew also leads and mentors a globally distributed team and is involved in planning, analysis, coding, and application performance management.

Andrew Galbraith Ryer attended Christian Brothers Academy from 1982 to 1986. Andrew then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from the University at Buffalo, studying from 1986 to 1990.
