Sachin Sawhney has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. In 1994, they began their career in the United States Air Force, where they specialized in intel and information management, ensuring the secure and efficient transmission of sensitive data. After leaving the military in 1998, they joined SAIC as a network management professional for a year. In 2000, Sawhney joined Bloomberg, where they played a vital role in business strategy, development, and analysis. During their tenure, they successfully led the infrastructure design and build-out for an acquisition and identified significant cost-saving opportunities by addressing process inefficiencies.

In 2015, Sawhney co-founded the Sustainability Investment Leadership Council (SILC) with the objective of promoting sustainability practices within legal and accounting professions. Sachin actively worked towards educating and expanding the understanding of the impact sustainability has on profitability. Additionally, in 2018, Sawhney established New Energy Connect, aiming to create a pilot community for cooperative and condo board members to leverage cleantech solutions for enhanced value and cost efficiencies.

In 2018, Sawhney joined ZappyRide as the Director of Business Development and Strategy, and in 2023, they transitioned to J.D. Power as the Director of Business Development.
