Aaron J. Kowalski

Aaron J. Kowalski is the current CEO at JDRF. Aaron has been with the company since March 2014 and has held various positions including Chief Mission Officer and Vice President, Artificial Pancreas and Treatment Therapies.

Kowalski has been a champion for JDRF's Artificial Pancreas Initiative and has been instrumental in securing funding and partnerships to bring the project to fruition. Aaron has also been a leader in JDRF's efforts to improve glucose control for people with diabetes and has overseen the development of several new treatment therapies.

Under Kowalski's leadership, JDRF has made significant progress in its mission to cure, prevent and treat diabetes. Aaron is a passionate advocate for people with diabetes and is committed to making JDRF the global leader in the fight against this disease.

Aaron Kowalski received a BA in Biology from Rutgers University and a PhD in Molecular Genetics from Rutgers University.
