Joe Orfano

Joe Orfano began their work experience in 1987 at Florida Progress Corporation as an Assistant Treasurer and Director of Corporate Finance. Joe then moved on to SCANA Corporation in 2003 as the Manager of Treasury Services. In 2005, Orfano joined NV Energy, Inc. as the Assistant Treasurer and Director of Capital Markets. Joe later transitioned to Mercator Minerals Ltd. in 2011, where they served as the Director of Treasury. Most recently, Orfano held multiple roles at JEA, including Treasurer, Interim CFO and Treasurer, and Vice President of Financial Services starting in 2013.

Joe Orfano attended the University of Notre Dame from 1978 to 1982, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance. In 2004, they obtained a Certified Treasury Professional certification from the Association for Financial Professionals.
