Kent Mathis

Kent Mathis has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Starting as a Systems Engineer at Matra Transport, they later transitioned to the role of Systems Engineer at the Jacksonville Transportation Authority. Kent then moved on to Wells Fargo as a Financial Consultant before joining JEA as a Manager for Utility Analytics. Currently, they hold the position of Director for Meter Data Management Business Services at JEA.

Kent Mathis completed their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology in 1985. Kent then went on to earn their Master of Science in the same field from the same university in 1987. In addition, Kent Mathis obtained the Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the Florida Board of Professional Engineers in 2003 and the Certified Public Pension Trustee (CCPT) certification from FPPTA_Florida Public Pension Trustees Assoc. in 2017.
