Kim Pearce

Kim Pearce has extensive experience in environmental protection and compliance, currently serving as the Pollution Prevention Programs Coordinator at JEA since February 2022, focusing on industrial pretreatment permitting and compliance to safeguard public health and the St. Johns River. From January 2000 to February 2022, Kim held multiple roles at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, including Environmental Consultant and Environmental Specialist III, overseeing site visits, permitting processes, and mentoring staff in wetlands evaluation and wastewater permitting. Kim began the career as an Environmental Technician at International Paper and also worked as a Health Physics Technician at Virginia Electric and Power Company. Kim holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Virginia Tech.
