Martin Overgaard Hansen

Martin Overgaard Hansen joined our Malaysia-based life sciences business unit on 1 February 2023 to oversee it as CEO, while being supported by his predecessor, Jakob Helms, who transitioned into the Executive Director role of JJ-Lurgi on 1 March.

Mr Overgaard has a long history in different industrial management roles, including Group Senior Vice President at international EPC provider Andritz, and CEO of Glunz & Jensen, a Danish stock-listed and globally active machine maker. Mr Overgaard is a Danish citizen with an MSc in Business Administration.

JJ-Lurgi, Jebsen & Jessen Group’s joint-venture with Air Liquide, is a full-fledged engineering practice and leading innovator in the field of oils & fats, oleochemicals, and biodiesel. With a branch office in China, the company delivers projects for customers across the region and globally.
