Paul Weiss

Paul Weiss has a diverse work experience spanning over several organizations. Paul is currently serving as the Chief Financial & Administrative Officer at The Jed Foundation (JED) since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Carey & Co as the Interim CFO/COO from July 2021 to May 2023.

Paul Weiss has a long history of working with non-profit organizations. Paul served as the Chief CRM, Marketing and Technology Officer at the National MS Society from September 2018 to November 2020. During their tenure, they led the integration of marketing and technology, resulting in improved service delivery and increased fundraising. Paul also developed a constituent-centric vision and increased the Society's reach.

Before that, Paul Weiss worked as the Chief Operating Officer at the National MS Society from August 2008 to September 2018, where they led strategic planning, finance, operations, human resources, and technology. Paul spearheaded significant policy and structural changes, resulting in a more effective and unified organization. Paul also served as the staff lead on several National Board committees and led staff and volunteer task forces.

Prior to their roles at the National MS Society, Paul Weiss held senior positions at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and had various roles at the National MS Society, starting as a Vice President of Fundraising and progressing to Staff Vice President and Senior Operations Analyst.

Paul Weiss began their career as an Audit Manager at Coopers & Lybrand in September 1983 and worked there until January 1991.

Overall, Paul Weiss has extensive experience in finance, operations, strategic planning, and leadership roles within non-profit organizations.

Paul Weiss attended the University of Connecticut from 1979 to 1983, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and also became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
