Mark Skiba

Mark Skiba is the current Internet Sales Manager at Jeff Schmitt Auto Group. Mark has also previously served as the Mayor of the village of Catawba in Clark County, Ohio from January 2012 to December 2015. Prior to their time as Mayor, Skiba was on village council for just over a year. Skiba decided not to run for re-election after their term as Mayor was up.

Before their time in public office, Skiba worked as a programmer analyst for CW Costello & Associates from January 1989 to September 1991. There, they were responsible for programming and supporting IBM mainframe-based applications at four area organizations.

Skiba began their career as a programmer for Columbus Life Insurance Company from July 1987 to December 1988. There, they performed computer programming of IBM mainframe business applications using COBOL, BAL, CICS, VSAM, and DYL.

Mark Skiba has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University. Mark has also received certification from General Motors as a GM Internet Manager, from Mazda North American Operations as a Mazda Internet Manager, and from Nissan Motor Corporation as a Nissan Internet Manager.
