Shelly Mueller has extensive experience in payroll and human resources management, currently serving as the Director of Compensation & Benefits and previously as Payroll Manager at Jefferson College since June 2013. In this role, responsibilities include multi-state payroll tax compliance, retirement reporting, and process improvement. Prior to this, Shelly worked in the Festus R-VI School District from August 2008 to June 2013, handling payroll processing and tax reporting, along with onboarding and benefits administration. Earlier experience includes a position at GGS Group, LLC, where payroll processing, tax reporting, and employee recruitment were key duties. Shelly holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources Management from Southeast Missouri State University and an Associate of Arts in Business Administration and Management from Jefferson College.
