Kevin Faughnder

Kevin Faughnder is currently the Information Technology Director at Jefferson Community Health & Life. Prior to that, they were a Graduate Student at The United States Army War College from July 2015 to June 2016. Kevin was also previously the Chief of Operations (CHOPS) / Directo at the Defense Information Systems Agency from July 2014 to July 2015. During their time there, they oversaw enterprise-level connectivity for 83% of the DoD’s global Defense Information Systems Network and directed 12 internet access points with over 500 network sensors. Kevin also served as the Computer Network Defense Service Provider for 26 agencies. Some of their significant accomplishments include executing an annual budget of $175M to directly support global operations, leading and synchronizing the efforts of over 450 skilled personnel and contractors, issuing clear and concise orders to manage team effectively, and identifying the need to focus on customer support and operational readiness quickly. Kevin has also been recognized as the #1 Deputy Director out of 15 across the organization.

Kevin Faughnder has a Master's degree in Military and Strategic Leadership from the United States Army War College, a Military Operational Art and Science/Studies from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, a Master's degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from Webster University, and a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Kevin also has a Bachelor's degree in Criminology from Ball State University and is certified from CompTIA in Security+.
