Landon J. Dowe

Landon J. Dowe has over two decades of experience in systems analysis, payroll administration, and accounting, currently serving as Manager for the Jefferson County Commission since March 2008. In this role, Dowe administers the Kronos HR/Payroll system and oversees Payroll Accounting, focusing on implementing complex systems for human resources and budget management. Previously, Dowe held positions such as Sr. Systems Analyst, where responsibilities included leading the Kronos implementation project, and Technology & Compliance Division Manager, managing regulatory compliance in HR operations. Prior experience includes HRIS Manager for the City of Birmingham and a software engineering internship with NASA. Dowe holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Computer Science from Oakwood University.
