Maria Werner-Wasik

Maria Werner-Wasik serves as the Chairperson of the Protocol Operations Management Committee at NRG Oncology since March 2014. In addition, Maria is the Contact Principal Investigator at Thomas Jefferson University and holds the position of Enterprise Vice-Chair for Radiation Oncology at Jefferson Health since October 2016. Maria has been involved with the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center at Thomas Jefferson University as a Senior Physician Leader of the Clinical Trials Office since 2016. At Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Maria has been a Professor since August 1994 and previously served as the Residency Program Director and Director of Clinical Research. From January 2011 to March 2014, Maria was the Vice Chair for Publications at the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group. Maria completed medical education at Wroclaw Medical University from 1973 to 1979 and attended I Liceum Opole in Poland from 1969 to 1973.
