Patricia Adams serves as the Chief Legal Counsel for Jefferson Parish Public Schools since November 2012. Prior to this role, Patricia held the position of University Counsel at the University of New Orleans from June 2005 to August 2012 and worked as a Labor and Employment Attorney at Phelps Dunbar LLP between May 2003 and June 2005. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law (1992-1995) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Tulane University (1982-1984). Patricia is also an alumna of St. Mary's Dominican High School.
