Karl Henn

Karl Henn has extensive work experience in engineering and advanced manufacturing roles. Karl is currently the Vice President of Engineering & AME at JELD-WEN, Inc, a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Global Advanced Manufacturing at the same company from January 2022 to February 2023.

Before joining JELD-WEN, Inc, Karl worked at Lear Corporation for several years. Their roles at Lear Corporation include Director of Product/Process Technology and Industry 4.0 Deployment from October 2020 to December 2021, Director of Advanced Technology & RD from June 2011 to October 2020, and Engineering Manager from November 2004 to May 2011.

Karl also has experience at Lear Corporation as a DFSS Master Black Belt from October 2002 to September 2004, a Six Sigma Master Black Belt from April 2000 to April 2003, and a Product Engineer from June 1994 to April 2000.

Additionally, Karl worked as a Student Researcher at the University of Michigan from November 1997 to April 1998.

Karl Henn earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSE ME) from the University of Michigan between 1994 and 1998. Later, between 2008 and 2010, they pursued an Executive MBA (EMBA) from the Michigan State University - Eli Broad College of Business, specializing in Business.
