Ravi Ramaraj

Ravi Ramaraj has a wide range of work experience in various leadership roles in the IT industry. Ravi most recently served as the Chief Information Security Officer at JELD-WEN, Inc., where they oversaw datacenter and cloud operations, cybersecurity, and compliance. Ravi also led a global team and provided updates on cybersecurity and compliance initiatives to the board. Prior to that, Ravi worked as the Vice President of Global IT Infrastructure & Security at JELD-WEN, Inc., where they were responsible for overseeing datacenter and cloud operations, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure engineering, network operations, and compliance.

Before joining JELD-WEN, Inc., Ravi served as the Vice President of IT at American Tire Distributors, where they led initiatives to streamline IT infrastructure, lower costs, and improve stability. In this role, they also served effectively as the CTO. Earlier in their career, Ravi held several leadership roles at Family Dollar, including Divisional Vice President of Infrastructure Operations and IT Service Management, Director of Technical Services, Director of Application Development, Manager of Application Development, and Project Manager of Application Development. Ravi successfully managed IT infrastructure supporting thousands of stores and distribution centers, migrated systems to the Amazon cloud, and improved availability.

Ravi's previous experience includes working as a Senior Consultant at Compuware and a Systems Analyst at TCS. Overall, Ravi has demonstrated expertise in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, compliance, and leading global teams.

Ravi Ramaraj holds a Master of Engineering degree in Applied Electronics from the College of Engineering, Guindy. Ravi also completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communications Engineering from Mepco Schlenk Engineering College. In 2023, they obtained a certification in Digital Directors Network Masterclass - Boardroom Certified Qualified Technology Expert (QTE) from the Digital Directors Network.
