Sarah von Fersen

Sarah von Fersen has extensive work experience in the animation and visual effects industry. Sarah most recently worked at Jellyfish Pictures as the Head of Assets. Prior to that, they held the position of HOD Assets at Wild Child Animation. Sarah also has experience in academia, having worked as a Senior Lecturer and Course Leader at Arts University Bournemouth, where they taught visual effects for film and television. Sarah also worked as a Visiting Tutor for the VFX Design and Production program. In addition, Sarah served as the Mentorship and Industry Relations Lead for 3D Animation and Visual Effects at Vancouver Film School, where they created the career preparation course. Sarah has also worked at Pixar Canada as the Character and Sets Lead, Electronic Arts as a Senior Character Artist, Framestore CFC as the Lead Character Modeller, and the Jim Henson Creature Shop as a Modeller. Overall, Sarah's work experience showcases their expertise in asset management, teaching, and leadership roles in the animation and visual effects industry.

Sarah von Fersen attended Bournemouth University from 1994 to 1997, where they pursued a BA (hons) degree in Media Production.
