Andrea Colonna

Andrea Colonna has extensive work experience in the field of AI, data science, and machine learning. From November 2017 to February 2022, they served as the VP of AI at Jellysmack, where they led the data logic and systems behind the company's video optimization technology. Andrea'srole involved overseeing artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, and forecasting technologies to identify emerging Creator talent and enhance video and advertising performance.

Prior to Jellysmack, Andrea worked at Twenga from November 2013 to October 2017 as a Principal Project Engineer. In this role, they focused on algorithmic data processing to optimize monetization under merchant and publisher satisfaction constraints. Andrea also worked on machine learning algorithms in a "Big Data" environment.

Andrea's earlier experiences include a Big Data/Risk Management internship at Kyriba Corporation in 2013 and a Quantitative Research internship at Natixis in 2012. Andrea also had internships at Natixis in 2011 and 2010, where they gained experience in front office research flow derivatives and middle/front office operations.

Additionally, Andrea completed an internship in wealth management at Honova in 2009.

Andrea Colonna started their education in 2003 at Lycée Laetitia Bonaparte, where they completed their Baccalauréat in Science with Honors in 2006. In 2006-2007, they attended Lycée Laetitia Bonaparte where they pursued an intensive course in Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering Sciences. From 2007 to 2008, Andrea studied at the University of Corsica Pascal Paoli, where they obtained a Licence 2 in Mathematics and Computer Science. Continuing their education, they enrolled in ESILV - Ecole supérieure d'ingénierie Léonard de Vinci for their Master's degree in Financial Markets from 2007 to 2012. Finally, in 2012-2013, Andrea attended Ecole normale supérieure, where they completed a Master Recherche in Mathematical Vision and Statistical Learning.
