Kevin Chu has a diverse work experience in various roles within the R&D field. Kevin started their career as an Engineer at Pro-Dex in 2005 and worked there until 2009. From 2009 to 2012, they were an R&D Engineer at Endologix Inc before being promoted to Sr. R&D Engineer until 2014. Kevin then joined Lombard Medical Technologies as a Principal R&D Engineer in 2015. In 2016, they transitioned to JenaValve Technology, Inc. as a Sr. R&D Manager and later became the Director of R&D, Catheter Development in March 2021.

Kevin Chu completed their education in Mechanical Engineering. Kevin obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Riverside, which they attended from 2001 to 2005. Kevin then pursued further education in the same field and earned a Master's of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Fullerton, where they studied from 2007 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Kevin Chu has also acquired various certifications. Kevin holds certifications in CATIA V5 Drafting and CATIA V5 Fundamentals from The MSC Institute of Technology. Kevin is also an Engineering-in-training, certified by the California Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. Furthermore, they have obtained certifications in Failure Mode Effects and Analysis (FMEA) from the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance from Griffith Training.
