Mark Ornstein

Mark Ornstein has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Mark started their career as an attorney and partner at Killgore Pearlman Stamp Ornstein & Squires in 1996, where they managed a 15-person automotive legal department. Mark gained recognition as one of the top automotive attorneys in the US and conducted due diligence, negotiations, and deal oversight for the sale of over 550 dealerships.

In 1997, Mark became a dealership owner and manager for Kia, Ford, Hyundai, and Budget Car Sales. Mark successfully managed large auto dealership operations and also served as an interim manager for Kia of Tallahassee from April to September 2017.

In 2017, Mark joined Bass Sox Mercer, P.A. as a partner and continued their legal career. The following year, they moved to Van Tuyl Companies, where they served as the general counsel. In this role, Mark was responsible for overseeing the acquisition of real estate assets for investment and development, conducting due diligence, valuation, strategic analysis, negotiations, and documentation. Mark also managed litigation, HR, and vendor contracts.

Most recently, Mark joined Jenkins Auto Group as the Vice President and General Counsel in August 2021. Jenkins Auto Group operates over 20 new vehicle dealerships in the southeast, and Mark brings their extensive legal expertise and experience to this role.

Mark Ornstein has a Bachelor of Arts - BA degree from the University of Florida. Mark later pursued a Juris Doctor degree at the University of Florida - Fredric G. Levin College of Law.
