Andrea Alms

Andrea Alms is the current Director at Jenrin Discovery. Prior to that, they were an Advisor and Consultant at Kuraray Co., Ltd from November 2014 to December 2018, where they provided strategic planning and marketing to the company and its new business unit, Elplasia. Elplasia provides multiple product lines of three-dimensional (3D) tools for drug discovery, high-throughput-screen, stem cell research, tissue generation, and regenerative medicine. Andrea's responsibilities included strategic planning, financial analysis, life science and healthcare industry research, product pricing, directing new product development, leading new market development, seeking assets and partners, and client development.

Andrea has also been a Venture Partner at BrookDell Partners Management from January 2013 to November 2016, a Consultant at yet2Ventures from January 2010 to December 2013, a Member of the Angel Capital Association, and an Advisor at Chartline Capital Partners.

Andrea Alms has a BA in Economics from Wellesley College and an MBA from Averett University. Andrea also has a MS in Pharmacology from the University of Virginia. Andrea is certified from the National Association of Investment Companies - NAIC in Certification of Completion - Establishing the Next Generation of Private Equity Firms Symposium.
