Juha-Pekka Laaksonen

Juha-Pekka Laaksonen currently serves as Vice President and Service Line Leader Europe at Jensen Hughes since March 2020. Prior to this role, Laaksonen held the position of CEO at L2 Paloturvallisuus Oy from October 2002 to February 2020, where also served as Chief Fire Engineer. Laaksonen's earlier experience includes serving as Fire Marshal and Firefighter/Paramedic at the Helsinki City Rescue Department from May 1989 to September 2002, and as Firefighter/Paramedic at the Lahti Fire Department from May 1984 to April 1989. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Fire Engineering and Risk Based System Analysis from Helsinki University of Technology, attendance at Lund University, and completion of firefighter training at the State Fire Academy and the Swedish Fire Officer Academy.
