Qiqi Z.

Qiqi Zheng is a versatile professional with extensive experience in technology and the arts. Currently serving as a Full Stack Developer and Lead of Engineering Community of Practice at Hack for LA since February 2021, Qiqi Zheng has led technical decisions on frontend projects and contributed to the Design Systems Project by introducing TypeScript. Prior to this role, Qiqi Zheng worked as a Frontend Developer, focusing on website accessibility and internal tool development. In addition to technology, Qiqi Zheng has established a successful career as a Performing Artist and Singer Songwriter, winning the title of first female global champion at the 2018 Voice of Cantonese and performing at major events such as the XiHu Music Festival. Qiqi Zheng also has a background in research as a Research Associate at Genovo Molecular Diagnostics and has held tutoring and assistant roles in academia and dentistry. Qiqi Zheng holds a degree in Biochemistry/Cell Biology from UC San Diego and completed a Software Engineering Track at Springboard in 2021.
