Shane Carroll

Shane Carroll is a Captain at Jet2, based in Manchester, UK, with over 10,000 hours of flying experience in Europe and Asia on the Airbus A320. Shane began their aviation career as a sponsored cadet pilot with Aer Lingus in 1999, becoming a Captain in 2009. They have also served as the Head of Training Software at Airbus, where they developed training solutions including the Virtual Procedure Trainer. Shane was the founder and president of VRnam from 2016 to 2019, and worked as a First Officer and Captain for various airlines in Asia and Europe prior to their current role.
