Ryan Hata

Ryan Hata currently serves as the Assistant Director at The Jerome A. Chazen Institute for Global Business, where responsibilities include managing the visiting scholars program and coordinating small group advising sessions with global advisory board members. Previous roles include Events Program Manager at the same Institute, President of the JETAANY, and Graduate Assistant at Barnard College, where expertise in visa policies and program oversight was developed. A strong foundation in education was built through various teaching and mentoring positions, including Assistant Language Teacher in Japan through the JET Program and instructional roles at San Francisco State University. Ryan Hata holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Loyola Marymount University.
