James Booth

A320/321 Captain

James Booth is a highly experienced aviation professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as an A320/321 Captain and Adjunct Simulator Instructor at JetBlue Airways since March 2014, Booth conducts initial and recurrent training for A320 pilots. Previous experience includes serving as a DHC-6/King Air 300/350 Captain at Avenge Inc., where operations supported US Army missions overseas, and as a First Officer on the B747-400 at Southern Air Inc. Notably, Booth held significant roles in the United States Air Force for over a decade, including as an Evaluator/Instructor Pilot for the B-52H and Mission Commander for the MC-12W, where leadership in tactical reconnaissance was demonstrated. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Duke University, completed in 1989.
