Lemuel Diaz Hernandez

Lemuel Diaz Hernandez is an experienced aviation professional currently serving as an Airline Captain at JetBlue since October 2021, with previous experience as both Captain and First Officer at SkyWest Airlines. Lemuel has actively contributed to the Florida Wing Civil Air Patrol since 2013, focusing on cadet orientation flights, search and rescue missions, and airspace education. Prior to these roles, Lemuel worked as a Flight Instructor at ATP Flight School, teaching future pilots the fundamentals of aviation and preparing them for FAA certification. In addition to aviation, Lemuel has interned with various governmental organizations, including the U.S. House of Representatives and the FAA, where involvement included supporting projects related to transportation and air traffic management. Lemuel holds a degree in Airway Science Management from Interamerican University and a high school diploma from Escuela Georgina Baquero.
