Matt Bennett

Matt Bennett is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in strategic communications and community relations. Currently serving as the Manager of SOC Strategic Communications at JetBlue Airways since July 2015, Matt develops communication strategies for the System Operations Center and manages company-wide change initiatives. Previous roles include Advisor at Columbia University, Director of Sports and Entertainment Partnerships at Teach For America, and various community relations positions with prominent sports organizations such as the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and the Oakland Athletics. Holding a Master’s Degree in Strategic Communications from Columbia University, a Bachelor of Science in Communications from the University of Florida, and an M.S. in Sports Administration from The University of Southern Mississippi, Matt combines academic expertise with a proven track record in relationship building, event management, and effective communication strategies.
