Andrey Sokolov

Andrey Sokolov has extensive experience in software development and machine learning, currently serving as Team Lead at AI Assistant Core and Technical Lead in the AI Assistant team at JetBrains since February 2013. Responsibilities include clustering similar code usages and developing a PHP plugin that identifies complex code while suggesting refactoring options. Prior to JetBrains, Andrey worked as a Java Developer for the PhpStorm team, contributing to various subsystems. Earlier career experience includes a position at Yandex as a Java Developer in 2011. Andrey holds a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics and Informatics from ITMO University, completed in June 2014.
