Denis Dancanet

Denis Dancanet has a strong and diverse work experience. Denis started their career at Morgan Stanley in 1997 and worked there as a Managing Director until 2012. Denis then joined PDT Partners as a Partner from 2012 to 2016. At Theorem LP, they served as the Head of Research from 2016 to 2018. In 2015, Denis co-founded Jetoptera and became the Board Chairman. Currently, they hold the position of President at Cubist Systematic Strategies since 2020.

Denis Dancanet obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Mathematics, and Philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania in 1990. Denis then pursued further education and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University between 1990 and 1997.
