Roozbeh Saneie

Roozbeh Saneie has a diverse work experience in the academic and research fields. Currently, they are employed at The University of British Columbia, where they hold multiple roles including Exam Invigilator, Graduate Research Assistant, and Ph.D. Student, starting in September and October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Researcher at Jetti Resources starting in September 2022. Before moving to Canada, Roozbeh worked at the University of Tehran as a Research Assistant and Student from September 2015 to April 2022. In addition, they gained internship experience at the National Iranian Copper Industries Co. from July to September 2018.

Roozbeh Saneie began their education journey in 2011 at Sama 2 High School, where they obtained their diploma in Mathematics & Physics in 2015. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering at the University of Tehran from 2015 to 2019.

In 2019, Roozbeh continued their studies at the University of Tehran and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mineral Processing, completing their program in 2022. Roozbeh then decided to further their education by pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Materials Engineering at The University of British Columbia, starting in 2022 and anticipating completion in 2026.

Additionally, Roozbeh has obtained several certifications to enhance their skillset. In 2018, they obtained OHSAS 18001:2007 certification from THE CERTIFICATION GROUP LIMITED. In 2021, they achieved a GRE score of 308 (Q:163 V:145 W:3.5) from ETS and a TOEFL IBT score of 112 (R:29 L:28 S:30 W:25) from The TOEFL® test. Roozbeh also holds an ICDL certification from the Iranian ICDL Foundation.
