Sophie Duchesne

Sophie Duchesne is a seasoned professional in flight deck design and human factors, currently contributing to new flight deck development and crew interface design at JetZero since February 2024. With extensive experience at Esterline CMC Electronics as a Design/Human Factors Specialist and Director of Integrated Solutions, as well as a significant tenure at Bombardier Aerospace, Sophie has led multidisciplinary teams in the development and certification of various aircraft flight decks, including the CRJ and Global series. Early career beginnings as a Flight Test Engineer at Bombardier Aerospace involved roles in UAV development and user interface design. Sophie's academic background includes a Master's Degree in Human Factors and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, along with aviation qualifications including a Commercial Pilot license and Flight Instructor certification.
