Maaike van Grol

Maaike Van Grol is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in various roles within the fields of social work and photography. Currently, Maaike serves as a Trainer at Jeugdformaat academie since February 2023, while simultaneously holding multiple positions at Jeugdformaat since March 2017, including Regisseur Pleegzorg, Gezinsonderzoeker, and Ambulant Hulpverlener Pleegzorg, focusing on the guidance of foster children and families. Prior to this, Maaike operated a photography business from 2006 to June 2021, capturing portraits and events as a freelancer. Earlier experience includes working as a Begeleider Niveau 4 at Middin, where support was provided to young individuals with mild intellectual disabilities and autism, and contributing to the establishment of an ortho-psychiatric department for children at De Jutters. Maaike's foundational experience also includes diverse roles in social work at Middin and a background in education, with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from De Haagse Hogeschool and training from Fotovakschool.
