Christine Gillespie

SVP, Career & Technical Education at JEVS Human Services

Christine Gillespie serves as the Senior Vice President of Career & Technical Education for JEVS Human Services where she engages in key education and workforce initiatives, including employer-driven workforce reentry training, academic pathway development, and public-private funded initiatives. Dr. Gillespie has been recognized by the US Department of Labor, the US Secretary of Defense, and the Consulate General of Ecuador among others for her work nationally in emerging practices related to employer relationships in higher education and regionally for her work with veteran groups, underserved / diverse communities of color, including immigrants and those with intellectual disabilities.

Christine has expertise in cultivating and managing large budgets for public and private partnerships, developing creative employer engagement in education and workforce systems, and teambuilding and decision-making in startup, complex, and critical situations.

Dr. Gillespie has been recognized by the US Department of Labor, the US Secretary of Defense, and the Consulate General of Ecuador among others for her work nationally in emerging practices related to employer relationships in higher education and regionally for her work with veteran groups, underserved / diverse communities of color, including immigrants and those with intellectual disabilities. She serves on several professional boards and committees as well as being active in non-profit volunteer work raising funds for educational scholarships.

She is an alumna of National American University, the Pennsylvania State University and the Indiana University of PA graduating summa cum laude from all institutions.
