Alex Chang

Alex Chang has worked in the software engineering industry since 2011. Their first job was as a Técnico de Suporte de Informática at Clube de Regatas do Flamengo from 2011 to 2016. Alex then moved to Santos Lab Comercio e Industria Aeroespacial Ltda. as a Software Engineer from 2016 to 2018. In 2018, they worked as a Fullstack Developer at SportsLocal, where they were responsible for planning, development and maintenance of the SportsLocal website on Laravel with ReactJS/Redux and Stylus. Alex also integrated and maintained the SportsLocal linux server at DigitalOcean. Alex then moved to Stella Technology as a Software Engineer from 2018 to 2019. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Frontend Developer at GKO Informática. Alex is currently working as a Software Engineer at Jewel ML, where they are responsible for working with external stakeholders to understand their software stack, preparing integration plans, implementing such plans, maintaining a healthy integration between the client stack and Jewel ML platform, gathering client requests and communicating such requirements to the product team, and enhancing, designing, proposing and implementing new changes to the platform. Alex is also educating potential clients on the technical aspects of the Jewel ML platform. Additionally, they are a Back End Developer at Legend Trading and a Fullstack Developer and Mobile Engineer at SigoClinicas.

Alex Chang has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, which they obtained between 2011 and 2014. Alex then went on to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Analysis of Computer Systems from Estácio between 2015 and 2017. In April 2020, they obtained a certification in "How to Spend Consciously" from FGV Online. Alex also holds an EF Education First certification in Quick English Check, with a score of Intermediate/Upper Intermediate (CEFR B1/B2).
