Dr.saamta Loonker Jain

Dr. Saamta Loonker Jain has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Dr.Saamta is currently the Chief People Officer (CPO) at Jewelex Group, a position they have held since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Psychotherapist at Life Line Hospital starting in October 2014. From April 2015 to December 2022, they served as the Group Head and Vice President of HR, IR, CSR, and Admin at Teamglobal Logistics Pvt Ltd. Before that, Dr. Saamta was the Associate Dean of Academics, Student Activities, and Research at IBS Business School from January 2007 to October 2014. Dr.Saamta also has experience as a Program Manager for the HHMHSCT initiative at Sir Ratan Tata Trust from April 2003 to January 2006. Additionally, they worked as a Program Manager for the School of Desert Sciences at OXFAM UK from December 2000 to March 2003. Dr.Saamta'searly career included a role as an Academic Associate and Junior Faculty at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad in 1999-2000.

Dr. Saamta Loonker Jain holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Psychology from Jai Narain Vyas University (2000-2004). Dr.Saamta also obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy from the Indian Institute of Psychology and Management Studies (2013-2015). In addition, they completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from Maharshi Dayanand Sarswati University (1998-2000). Dr. Jain has also received certifications in Brain and Space from Duke University and in Bhuddism and Modern Psychology from the University of Princeton. Dr.Saamta has further obtained an International Case study writing and teaching certification from ECCH (2012) and a GRID USA (Leadership Certification) from GRID.
