Martin Siroka

Martin Siroka has been a JASA Trustee since 2007 and has served as President of the Board of Trustees since 2019. He is a Partner at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP (Katten) and has nearly 40 years of experience working on structured financing and affordable housing transactions. He has an extensive background in public finance; real estate financing; multifamily housing development; federal, state, and local government housing programs; and mortgage insurance.

Prior to joining Katten, he was a partner at Bingham McCutchen LLP. Before working with private practice law firms, he served for more than 11 years as vice president and general counsel of the New York City Housing Development Corporation (HDC) and prior to that as deputy general counsel for HDC.

He earned a BA from Yale University in 1975 and a JD from the George Washington University Law School in 1978.
