Stacy Walter Katz has a diverse work experience in the Jewish non-profit sector. Stacy began their career in 1999 at the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles as an Associate Director for ACCESS, a role they held until 2001. Stacy then joined Hadassah as a Major Gifts Associate in 2002 before moving on to The Jewish Federations of North America in 2003, where they served as an Associate Director for Development until 2015. Since 2015, they have been with The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles, initially as Vice President for Major Gifts and currently as Senior Vice President.

Stacy Walter Katz graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1996. Following this, they pursued two Master's degrees: one in Communication Management from the University of Southern California from 1997 to 1999, and another in Jewish Communal Service from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, also completed between 1996 and 1999.
