Cathy Montelbano

Cathy Montelbano has a diverse work experience in various accounting and financial roles. Cathy started their career in 2002 as an Accounts Receivable Representative at Palm Beach Pediatrics, where they handled insurance companies' claims and reconciled monthly reports. In 2004, they moved to the Retina Institute of Florida, where they supervised and trained new billing employees and handled billing and claims for different insurance carriers. In 2006, Cathy joined Florida Atlantic University as a Research Accounting Analyst, responsible for post-award management of grants and contracts and ensuring compliance with federal and state guidelines. In 2014, they transitioned to the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County, initially serving as an Assistant Controller, performing financial analysis and developing reports. Currently, they hold the position of Controller and is responsible for financial performance analysis and interpretation.

Cathy Montelbano attended Florida Atlantic University from 2000 to 2004, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. During the same time period, they also obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Accounting from the same university.
