Matthew Newman

Matthew Newman has a diverse work experience in the non-profit sector. Matthew currently serves as the Director of Emerging Leadership at the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Philanthropy Associate at David Posnack JCC from 2021 to 2021, where they were responsible for organizing financial resources, developing strategies to connect individuals to the organization, overseeing website redevelopment, and assisting with launching a golf outing event. Before that, Matthew was a Sales and Marketing Specialist at AmeriClean911 from 2020 to 2021, where they focused on sales and customer satisfaction. Matthew also served as a Development and Endowment Assistant at the Jewish Community Board of Akron, Inc in 2020. Matthew's earlier experience includes roles as an Associate in the Young Leadership Division at the Jewish Federation of Cleveland from 2016 to 2020, a Jewish Student Life Director at Cleveland Hillel Foundation from 2014 to 2015, a Village Supervisor at Camp Wise from 2012 to 2014, and a Connect Program Associate for the Ohio Northern Region at BBYO from 2013 to 2014. In their various positions, Matthew has demonstrated a strong commitment to community engagement, event coordination, and philanthropy.

Matthew Newman earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from Ashland University in 2020. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science from Ohio University between 2009 and 2013. In addition to their formal education, Matthew obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Ashland University in May 2020.
