Amy Clayman has a diverse background in finance and accounting. Amy started their career as a Senior Auditor/CPA at Laventhol and Horwath in 1986 before transitioning to the role of Operational Business Consultant at Marcum LLP (formerly Margolis & Company) in 1990. From 1991 to 1996, Amy worked as the Director of Accounting Operations at Lenox, where they were responsible for the financial reporting of the Lenox Direct Division. Amy then joined Infosys in 1996 as the Treasurer/Controller for JBA International System 21, a company that was later sold to GEAC and then Infosys. Amy worked at Financial Technology Integrators, LLC as a CFO Advisor from 2006 to 2008. Amy also served as a CFO Advisor at Conversion Technologies International, Inc. from 2003 to 2017 and at Voice Systems Engineering from 2001 to 2017. In 2000, Amy founded Financial Fluency LLC, where they worked as a Shareholder providing cost-effective accounting, CFO advisory, and business intelligence analysis services to small and medium-sized organizations. Amy also created business planning documents for potential funding. Amy's current position is Chief Financial Officer at the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey, a role they have held since 2017.
Amy Clayman attended Temple University from 1982 to 1986, where they received a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Accounting & Finance. Following their undergraduate studies, Amy obtained a certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the State of Pennsylvania in 1988.
