Sumiko Zayon

Sumiko Zayon is an experienced professional currently serving as Program Manager at the Jewish Federations of North America, a position held since November 2023. Prior to this role, Zayon was the Youth Engagement Director at Temple Beth Am, where responsibilities included developing and executing programs for children and teens. Zayon's extensive background in youth programming also includes serving as a Tot Shabbat leader at Temple Beth Am and Youth Director at Temple Beth Shalom. Earlier experiences in media include positions as a Television Presenter for Centro de estudios de la Radio y la Television Cubanas ICRT and a Radio Presenter at Rádio Metropolitana 98.5 FM. Zayon holds a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership & Innovation from Hebrew Union College and has additional qualifications in parenting coaching and applied behavior analysis, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Studies from the University of Havana.
