Sarah Isenberg

Sarah Isenberg, LMSW, currently serves as a Social Work Clinician at JSSA since July 2023. Prior experience includes a Clinical Social Work Intern role at CASA DC from August 2022 to May 2023, and various positions at the International Rescue Committee, including Youth Case Worker, Interim Youth Services Coordinator, and Youth Case Work Intern from August 2021 to May 2023. Additionally, Sarah worked as an Elementary School Teacher at District of Columbia Public Schools from August 2020 to July 2022, and served as a City Year Member at City Year Washington, DC from August 2019 to June 2020. Earlier experience includes event planning and volunteer coordination at Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis, and several roles during undergraduate studies at Earlham College, including a Development and Communications Intern position at Exodus Refugee Immigration. Sarah holds a Master of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago, focusing on Mental Health and Migrant Studies, and a Bachelor's Degree in Peace and Global Studies and Spanish & Hispanic Studies from Earlham College.
